Lawyers for Children America
pro bono attorney program

The 11th Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program and Lawyers for Children America offer opportunities for private attorneys to assist abused and neglected children who are in need of legal representation. Lawyers for Children America provides lawyers with the necessary technical support and training to effectively advocate for abused children identified by the Guardian Ad Litem Program as needing legal representation in juvenile dependency matters.

Volunteer lawyers are offered mentoring or case consultation, from private practitioners with experience in the field, to help them on an on-going basis. Lawyers for Children America works in partnership with The Yale Child Study Center to provide training and consultation.
